Les Forces armées maliennes (FAMa) poursuivent leur mission de défense opérationnelle du territoire national.
Dans cette dynamique, nos militaires ont neutralisé ce lundi 25 décembre, plusieurs terroristes qui étaient en mouvement de réplique dans le secteur de Naoulena suite à la riposte coordonnée des FAMa à l’attaque terroriste lâche contre le camp de Mourdiah dans la Région de Nara, indique un communiqué de la Direction de l’information et des relations publiques des Armées (Dirpa) en date de ce mardi 26 décembre .
«L’État-major général des Armées informe l’opinion nationale et internationale que les FAMa ont riposté à l’attaque terroriste qui a visé le camp de Mourdiah ce lundi 25 décembre 2023», indique la note de la Dirpa.
Ainsi, le professionnalisme des FAMa a permis de rétablir leur position. Selon la source sécuritaire «des dégâts matériels ainsi que des pertes en vies humaines sont à déplorer de part et d’autres».
Les services de communication de l’Armée soulignent que ces opérations ont permis aux FAMa de consolider leur position grâce au déploiement des Forces spéciales et aux vecteurs aériens.
Ces prouesses ont ainsi permis à nos hommes d’observer et de détruire plusieurs cibles terroristes qui étaient en mouvement de réplique dans le secteur de Naoulena, précise le document.
Face à cette situation, le haut commandement de notre outil de défense rassure la population que la traque et la destruction des terroristes continuent avec la mutualisation de tous les moyens.
