– Le président en exercice de l’Union africaine a effectué lundi une visite à Bamako
Le Mali mérite le soutien de la communauté africaine et internationale dans sa lutte contre le terrorisme, a déclaré le Président sénégalais, Macky Sall, lors de sa visite de travail et d’amitié au Mali.
« Ma présence ici est un signal d’amitié, de solidarité par rapport au peuple malien. Un signal également de soutien à la transition dans le cadre du processus de cette transition qui vient de réaliser des progrès après quelques difficultés » a indiqué Macky Sall à sa sortie d’audience avec le colonel Assimi Goïta, président de la Transition.
Sall, par ailleurs président en exercice de l’Union africaine, a déclaré : « Aujourd’hui il s’agit d’accompagner le Mali dans sa voie pour le retour à l’ordre constitutionnel normal dans le délai prévu conformément aux engagements des autorités, mais je crois que le Mali mérite le soutien de toute la communauté africaine, la Communauté internationale dans sa lutte acharnée contre le terrorisme ».
Et Macky d’ajouter que le Mali « est un pays qui a beaucoup souffert et continue de souffrir, qui a été résilient. Il se bat avec le soutien des Nations unies à travers la MINUSMA , de certains partenaires ; aujourd’hui nous devons être solidaire à cette lutte du Mali, du peuple malien, des autorités de transition contre le terrorisme qui est un fléau global et qui, d’ailleurs, doit nécessiter des réponses globales ».
Il a, en outre, salué le président de la Transition, le Colonel Assimi Goïta, pour les efforts consentis dans la lutte contre le terrorisme. Par ailleurs, Sall affirme avoir évoqué avec Goïta l’arrestation des 49 militaires ivoiriens mis sous mandat de dépôt par la justice malienne. « J’ai bien noté sa disponibilité à dialoguer. Nous allons poursuivre avec la Côte d’Ivoire également », a-t-il noté.
Les deux chefs d’Etat ont également abordé les questions bilatérales. « Les deux délégations ont pris note et nous allons examiner et donner les réponses appropriées pour que toutes les barrières ou toutes les difficultés qui entravent le commerce conformément à nos engagements dans le cadre de la zone de libre-échange continental(…) puissent sauter », a expliqué à la presse le Président sénégalais.
De son côté, le colonel Assimi Goïta a affirmé que les discussions avaient porté sur la bonne marche de la Transition, l’appui de l’Union africaine et le renforcement de la coopération entre les deux pays.
Macky Sall s’est rendu ensuite au Tchad, un autre pays dirigé par une junte militaire depuis le décès du Président Idriss Déby Itno en avril 2021.

Le président sénégalais M Sall est un hypocrite, irresponsable, un laquais de la france et alors ennemi du Mali. C est maintenant qu il sait que le Mali a besoin d aide pour lutter contre les terroristes djadistes et rebelles ? Pourquoi n a t il pas dit qu il fera lever un contingent militaire ouest africain ou africain afin d appuyer le Mali!! Sa visite au Mali a été un non événement; aucun Malien patriote n a accordé aucune impunité à ses fausses et hypocrites déclarations au Mali. Il sentait que des mensonges. Il était venu au nom de la france Macron et Alassane Ouattara pour plaider la libération des mercenaires ivoiriens. Tout son jeu a été compris par les autorités maliennes. On pouvait sentir un malaise qui ne cachait pas sa non sincérité dans son attitude durant son séjour.
