Quatre soldats maliens ont été tués et un blessé dans le Nord du Mali dans une attaque contre l’armée à la tête de laquelle un nouveau chef a été nommé, ont déclaré jeudi des responsables.
“Les militaires maliens assuraient la sécurité des travailleurs d’une société entre Tombouctou et Goundam quand ils ont été attaqués. Trois militaires ont été tués (et) deux autres blessés” mercredi dans cette attaque, a déclaré à l’AFP une source militaire.
Un soldat a succombé jeudi à ses blessures, portant le bilan à quatre soldats morts et un blessé, selon la même source militaire.
La société, qui était gardée par les militaires, est étrangère et notamment active dans le secteur des bâtiments et travaux publics (BPT). Les soldats attaqués “ont eu le temps de se défendre sinon le bilan aurait été plus lourd”, a-t-on ajouté.
Djenné : après les affrontements sanglants entre les habitants de Kossouma et Mougna
Après les affrontements sanglants de samedi dernier entre les habitants du village Kossouma et celui Mougna-bambara dans le cercle de Djenné, le calme est revenu dans les deux localités. Selon des sources locales, le bilan s’est alourdi après le décès de trois autres blessés à l’hôpital de Mopti. Il fait état de 18 morts et 43 blessés.
Gossi : deux individus non identifiés ont assassiné deux personnes à leurs domiciles
Deux individus non identifiés à moto ont assassiné hier vers 11 h deux personnes à Inerderen à leurs domiciles. Inerderen est une localité située à 40 km de Gossi dans la région de Tombouctou. Les assaillants ont emporté les motos des victimes. Une enquête d’investigation est en cours.

We have to allow the military of Mali to take aggressive position for the sake of preservation plus the eradication of terrorists plus their supporters. Yes. We advocate treating those who support terrorists the same as we treat terrorists. The why is obvious. The failure to do so assist in providing the required for terrorists to kill our military personnel. The areas we control should first be cleansed of the presence of terrorists plus their supporters for the sake of having due security. Areas where terrorists have not been eliminated should be deprived of sustenance in a systematic manner which assist our military with the eradication of terrorists in those areas. A key in the eradication is having the inhabitants help identify terrorists as we “hunt would would” interview all inhabitants of area. We need for the military to make raids on areas disallowing anyone to leave the area unto everybody within the area have been interviewed. We will find the relief this method bring to military personnel plus non supporters of the terrorists a great benefits in many ways especially in eliminating unproductive stress plus a feeling of a person life being of little value.
