5 Toms River North Girls Soccer Players Commit To College Teams

Five members of the Toms River North girls soccer team have made their college commitments official, after a trio of Mariners signed their national letters of intent.
The signings cap a stellar four years for the seniors on the Toms River North team, which reached the NJSIAA South Jersey Group IV semifinals in the fall before losing to six time sectional champion Lenape.Cheap Jerseys free shipping
Goalkeeper Alyssa Dell’Acqua and forward Emilie Gilbert both signed with Charleston Southern University in South Carolina, while forward Kayleigh Leschinski committed to Delaware State University. Defender Ali Hicks will continue her playing career at Rowan University, while forward Kate Galgano is headed to The College of New Jersey.
Gilbert, named the team’s unsung hero, finished with three goals and nine assists for her career, while Leschinski had six goals and five assists for her career. Galgano, who had nine goals and three assists in 2014, finished with 10 goals and nine assists for her career, including the overtime gamewinner in the 2012 Shore Conference Tournament semifinals against Freehold Township. The Mariners went on to win their first SCT title with a 2 0 victory over Freehold Boro in the championship game.
Hicks, named the Mariners’ 2014 MVP, was named to the Asbury Park Press Third Team All Shore in 2014.
Seniors Jackie Vitale, Alyssa Morgan and Airiana Munoz are undecided about their college careers but have numerous offers. Vitale scored three goals and Morgan had two goals and an assist in their careers.
