Après sa prestation de serment, le Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré a prononcé officiellement son premier discours, ce vendredi 21 octobre 2022.
Dès l’entame, le président de la transition a précisé qu’il ne va pas prononcer un discours, mais utilisera ses propres mots. Selon le Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré, du 24 janvier jusqu’au 30 septembre 2022, l’armée a constaté des dérives, contrairement aux objectifs de départ.
« Nous avons décidé en toute âme et conscience, devant le peuple, d’assumer notre révolte », a déclaré Ibrahim Traoré, qui a cité le Capitaine Thomas Sankara.
« Pour ma part, je serai engagé à vos côtés, aux côtés de tous les Burkinabè (…) Pour ma nation, je me battrai jusqu’au dernier souffle », promet le Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré.
Le Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré a par ailleurs appelé les Burkinabè à une mobilisation populaire face à l’insécurité
Au cours de l’audience solennelle de prestation de serment du président de la transition, Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré, le président par intérim du Conseil constitutionnel, Boureima Cissé, a formulé des vœux.
« Il ne suffit pas de prendre le pouvoir. Encore faut-il pouvoir l’assumer pleinement et bien, au service du peuple burkinabè qui n’a que trop souffert. Faites en sorte que le peuple vous soit reconnaissant », a-t-il indiqué au Capitaine Ibrahim Traoré
Après la prestation de serment, Boureima Cissé dit espérer qu’à la prochaine prestation de serment, ce sera celle d’un président du Faso démocratiquement élu.

We do not want President Ibrahim Traore to fight to his last breath for his country instead we would like for him to use his military withal to make terrorists who fight against us soon take their last breath. Burkinabes do not need great valor instead they need to work militarily smart plus successfully in productive steps plus stages. As conditions exist we must secure our people meaning they will either be moved by terrorists terrorizing actions or voluntarily to areas we may now as conditions exist give adequate security. Citizens must work as military require to bring about lasting security as soon as possible. This means we must not overly burden Burkinabes developing military instead we should make sacrifice of moving our residence to area that may be easily secured now by military. Thereof not stretching military numbers to where military is incapable of fighting winning battles against terrorists. As we move to more secure areas our military will be able to confront terrorists without terrorists having ability to use civilians as shields. That is important. It reduces war to condition where it is our military directly confronting terrorists. Thereof putting us on passage of to win we must have steps plus stages military buildup that allows us to extend areas we control as we neutralize terrorists or push them out of Sahel nations.
Military buildup have at least three key conditions that must constantly be fully fulfilled. It is creation of great war plan for sufficient number of highly trained soldiers with sufficient being to outnumber terrorists five to one, adequate amount of modern equipment that give us real time communications plus weapons that are superior in ability plus on battlefield when used against terrorists. It is of equal importance that we have solid plan for process to be taken to neutralize terrorists plus time frame we have to neutralize them within at each area. It is most important that our neutralizing actions always take on intent of neutralizing terrorists or /plus pushing them out of Sahel nations using “no stone left unturned” approach eliminating every possible place terrorists could find sanctuary having all places thoroughly examined or/ plus destroyed.
Those international financiers of terrorists support is limited. More terrorists are defeated more their source of outside income dry up.
There is much to do. I suggest military of Burkina Faso talk plus work in combination with military of Mali thereof plans should be more far reaching plus effective.
