À Kayes, le train a sifflé de nouveau ce jeudi matin à la gare ferroviaire. Arrêté depuis des années, cet essai blanc suscite beaucoup d’espoir pour les populations de la première région, mais aussi de l’inquiétude.
Lors de son entrée à la gare de Kayes plateau aux alentours de 3 heures du matin, la locomotive du train blanc a été accueillie avec enthousiasme. Cet essai a mobilisé vieux, jeunes et enfants, restés du début de la soirée du mercredi jusqu’aux premières heures du jeudi 14 juillet.
L’arrêt du train voyageur a causé un choc économique pour la région de Kayes à travers les villages traversés par les rails. Chez les enfants cheminots, cet acte d’essai est un ouf de soulagement et d’espoir après « tant d’années de difficultés financières », nous a fait savoir Mory Diawara, enfant cheminot vivant à Kayes.
Accueillie en grande pompe par les populations, la délégation conduite par Ibrahim Maïga, directeur de la société du patrimoine ferroviaire qui a accompagné le train de Bamako jusqu’à Kayes, se dit confiant pour un nouveau départ de la régie du chemin de fer après des travaux complémentaires sur les machines, avant la reprise définitive.
Cependant, l’interrogation qui hante les esprits, est la pérennité du train voyageur après cet essai réussi. En 2018, les autorités maliennes avaient annoncé la reprise du trafic ferroviaire en grande pompe, mais ces annonces sont restées sans effets, et beaucoup craignent de revivre le même scénario.
Pour l’heure, aucune date n’a encore été indiquée pour une reprise effective. En attendant, tous les regards sont tournés vers les autorités dans l’espoir d’entendre siffler à nouveau le train à Kayes.

However, high rise in cost of living caused by Biden method is anything but acceptable to Americans. Biden reasoning is set for life on earth to be able to endure unstoppable accelerating Global Warming much longer as oppose to what Trump reasoning set. At present time all indications are Trump reasoning is much more accurate. We have only few decades at best. Therefore our focus should be at delivering comfortable living conditions to all by cost efficient means that eliminate need for great wealth to live comfortable in modern living style. We are able to do so by using care for our people of Mali plus Africa first method. It is nothing new. Most nations are already using it plus have been doing so excess century.
With glaciers now melting away causing rise in storms originating in oceans that will be much more violent plus destructive in every way. Region where violent coastal storms strike will necessitate citizens temporarily ( years) moving more to interior of Africa where there is lessening amount of drinkable water. Therefore in order to avoid needless wars plus maintain our pursuit of higher world class living conditions we must be prepared to facilitate desalination of millions of gallons of water 24 hours per day plus transporting of that water more to interior of Africa. Trains will be of great use in transport effort as will trucks to move desalted water from shores of Guinea, Senegal plus Mauritania to more inward areas of Africa. Reliable train tracks plus roads will be needed. To efficiently do so we must have many many mobile desalination units(1,000,000 active) plus must start manufacturing them within year at Mali.
It will be essential to make use of oil from Malians oil fields that is refined by refinery in Mali. That fuel will be needed for many many trucks plus trains needed to transport water for daily use by people plus grow house farming.
Salt water tend to evaporate much quicker as oppose to non salted water. After immediate turmoil of glaciers melting causing violent storms oceans will begin to evaporate at unbelievable pace. Intensity of violent storms including water will cease plus shoreline will grow. It is then mobile desalination units will be even more appreciated as we will have to move farther out into what is not oceans to retrieve water for desalination. Likely we may use robots to help.
